The aims and objectives of the Institute are:

a) To establish, maintain and conduct an Institute for the association of persons interested and actively involved in business in Marbella.

b) To arrange and organise the delivery of papers, lectures, seminars and talks of all aspects of business, law and administration in particular, and other subjects of general interest to members.

c) To establish the importance of the foreign business community in the area.

d) To foment relations between this community and local authorities, credit institutions, the judiciary, etc.

e) To inaugurate a forum where English-speaking business people can exchange ideas.

f) To encourage connections between this business community and Spanish business on a national level.

g) To resolve problems arising through bureaucratic difficulties, government controls and changes in legislation.

h) To safeguard the reputation of the foreign business community in general, and of members of the Institute in particular.

i) To organise social gatherings.
